We are going ahead with our coverage of the Oscars with a special report from our contributing entertainment editor Diane Clehane. Diane writes regularly for TV Guide and People Magazine. Although there will be no “red carpet” parade of stars and Graydon Carter has banned press from attending the Vanity Fair Party (for fear that it would appear unseemly to the public for celebs to be seen enjoying themselves during a time of war) Diane’s Op-Ed piece still promises to go behind the scenes and review what really happened to this year’s awards.
