Me too! did internship in 97, opened the store on Thompson, I remember scrubbing the floor and painting his apartment walls, while he was with is wife at the doctor's. Yeah, decided to never work for free again.

Morton Myles is retired and living in Phoenix, though he’s often in London, Monaco and just got back from Hawaii (cancelled his trip to Egypt), Albert Nipon’s name is misspelled … again … geez, a lot of these guys passed away in the mid-late 80s in the first big wave … Kenth Andersson isn’t in here … neither is Carmen Marc Valvo … Roger Baugh did elegant menswear … Tom McLellon is in India, designing menswear still … Adam Beall kind of disappeared … Barry Kieselstein (sp?) … Kenneth Jay Lane … who did Donna Karan’s jewelry in the beginning? Michael Katz is still at it … Robin Kahn came and went but had interesting jewelry designs … Adrienne Vittadini …George Samen (designed for Mollie Parnis) .. I’m quitting while I’m ahead … Anne Klein!!!!
