Biggest New York Fashion Week Ever

According to Fashion Calendar, the Spring 2004 New York fashion week is shaping up as the busiest season ever. With over 150 formal fashion shows, cocktail parties, charity events, exhibitions and informal presentations going on over 8 days from September 12-19th.

And the above number does not include other related events going before show week begins. In fact, just on September 10th there are 9 major events scheduled so far. They include: Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Kick-Off Party; “New York After Dark in Black & White” by Museum of the City of New York & Celine; Launch of MAO Magazine by MAO Public Relations; Relaunch of Jeans & Sportwear Lines by Sassoon Group; “Positive Negatives Photo Auction Benefitting ACRIA by Vanity Fair & Hugo Boss celebration Vanity Fair’s 20th Anniversary; “Dreams of Elegance” Coture Fashion Shows by USA International Fashion Shows; Dazed & Confused Photo Exhibition & Cocktail Reception for silent Auction to benefit the Central Park Conservancy; Manolo Blahnik Reception by Bergdorf Goodman; and Best of Beauty Awards by Allure.
