More than 50 top chocolate makers and producers of chocolate-related products – such as coffees, teas, chocolate-friendly wines – as well as books and equipment for baking and chocolate making. Chocolate fashions, more than 40 culinary demonstrations by renowned pastry chefs and chocolatiers, book signings, chocolate sculptures and showpieces, educational exhibits and children’s activities. Tickets are $15 adults, $12 students, $6 children, children under 6 are free.
The event is being produced by Event International, a Paris-based promotional production company owned and managed by Sylvie Douce and François Jeantet. The First Salon du Chocolat was held in Paris in 1994. The first New York Chocolate Show was held in New York City in 1997. Attendance at the 4th Annual Chocolate Show in 2001 was 20,000 visitors.
