The best things about the first day of the New York shows is renewing friendships and the 4PM cocktail party held in the main tent area that is open to everyone. This daily party is really the only time in our industry that everyone – from the high and mighty editors to the lowly volunteers – mingle together in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
